Job Description

YOUR JOB:

Reporting to the Training and Development Manager, the learning specialist will help create and deliver exceptional learning content across the sales teams and engage with key stakeholders within the business. The learning specialist will also work closely with our management team to ensure our staff are provided with a consistent and quality learning experience. They will deliver continual coaching across all distribution channels in addition to the team managers requirements to enhance performance. Gathering insights plays a key part in a team that will be pro-actively analysing key business drivers, designing plans, and setting comprehensive goals to maximise performance and productivity.

MAIN REPONSABILITIES:

  • Coach, train and develop across all distribution channels
  • Identify opportunities to enhance key sales metrics
  • Feeding back identified highlights and development areas from call listening
  • Dip checking and following up on agreed actions
  • Take calls and call listen in side-by-side setting
  • Work closely with Team Managers identifying needs
  • Complete associated admin tasks to evidence coaching
  • Provide insight on advisor behaviour/customer/market trends
  • Supporting strategy analyst in disposition checking
  • Work closely with insight specialist to identify additional opportunities and quick win areas through the use of voice analytics
  • Continuous feedback into VA tool to ensure consistent improvement
  • Work closely with sales intelligence team to understand deeper underlying opportunities to explore
  • Responsible for driving increased individual KPIs as well as overall department results
  • Embed sales, compliance and continuous learning culture
  • Deliver comprehensive and engaging training to new and existing Cigna employees across Direct, Retentions and Broker channels to optimize performance
  • Help design, conduct, and organize training programs to improve employee performance and ensure organizational productivity
  • Continuous development of onboarding and training strategies
  • Partnering with Sales Intelligence and Sales Excellence team to ensure data driven decisions are made as well as continuous regulatory and compliance improvements
  • Complete associated admin tasks to evidence training
  • Work to KPIs set out by Training and Development Manager

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE NEEDED:

  • Experience in developing others
  • Experience in multiple coaching techniques
  • Understanding end to end sales role
  • Track record of achieving sales targets
  • Ability to engage a wide audience whilst presenting
  • Comfortable and effective at delivering constructive feedback
  • Ability to work closely with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in regulated sales environment
  • Ability and awareness to identify sales trends
  • Excellent listening skills, Excellent communication, and presentation skills
  • Enthusiastic and proactive personality
  • Ability to spot opportunities and drive positive change
  • Ability to work closely with key stakeholders at all levels
