Job Description

About the Role
As a Visual Merchandiser at Harrods within the food and restaurant sector, you will be responsible for creating compelling visual displays that showcase our premium food offerings and dining experiences. Your role will involve staying ahead of trends, optimising product placement for our Own Brand Range, and enhancing the overall ambiance of the food spaces to drive sales and customer engagement.

Other responsibilities include:

•    Collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence product selection and drive sales, as well as utilising your knowledge of ever-changing seasons and trends.
•    Ensuring visual displays remain pristine, clean, and engaging for customers.
•    Installing and setting up displays, using briefing guidelines while also having the flexibility to contribute ideas and set standards—there are no strict brand guidelines, so creativity is encouraged.
•    Adapting to different projects daily, working on a rota-based schedule, which includes occasional weekend shifts (every 8 weeks) and occasional overnight setups for larger projects.

Please note – these roles require flexibility to work across multi-site locations and adapt to processes across different environments, including occasional overnight and weekend work.

About You
As a Visual Merchandiser at Harrods, you’ll have a passion for styling, food displays, and trend analysis, along with a keen eye for detail and a drive for creativity. You’ll be an excellent communicator, staying ahead of global trends and bringing fresh ideas to the team.

Whether you’re just starting out or have some experience in the field, we’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow.
You will also have:
•    A creative flair and a demonstrable interest in visual merchandising.
•    A proactive approach with impeccable attention to detail.
•    Strong interpersonal skills, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, brands, and suppliers on window projects and promotions.
•    Excellent organisational skills, balancing both practical and project management tasks.
